João Rodrigues, 80 years old, former resident of Vilarinho das Furnas, Terras de Bouro, saw his passion for wood born in that same place. This was passed on to you by your grandfather. However, he was a GNR military officer all his professional life. At the same time and without ever putting art aside as a joiner, he transformed his garage in Turiz, Vila Verde, into his studio.
Today, already retired, he grabs his artistic and handmade love full time, transforming wooden pieces into benches and farm items, among many other things, whether for his clients or for personal use.
